Your Name Is on the Spec —
So the Spec Has to Hold Up

When you specify a material, you're not just picking something that looks right in the render. You're making a professional claim — that it meets code, that it performs as documented, and that it will still look the way you promised the client three years after installation.

Most factories treat "documentation" as an afterthought — a generic PDF sent after the sale. We treat it as the actual product, because for you, the paperwork is what your professional liability is built on.

The Five Questions Every Design Professional Asks First

Straight answers, no sales pitch — this is what governs every specification request we receive.

Q1

MOQ

For a single project, your client's contractor or our OEM team handles the order — you don't need to think about minimums. If you're specifying a custom colour, plan for a 500 m² minimum once the project reaches procurement.

Not your problem at spec stage
Q2

Lead Time

Sample boards ship within 48 hours for stocked series — fast enough for most client presentation deadlines. Custom strike-offs for bespoke colours take 7–14 days for first approval.

Q3

Packaging

Not usually a design-stage concern — but for hospitality and multi-unit projects, we can align carton labelling with your finish schedule codes to simplify site handover and installer coordination.

Architect & Designer — Common Questions

Are sample boards really free, with no order commitment?
Yes. Sample boards for stocked series are provided free of charge for qualified design professionals, with no obligation to place an order. We ask only that requests reflect an active project brief rather than a general catalogue collection.
Can you provide test data specific to our project's jurisdiction?
We provide ANSI A137.1 (US), CE (EU) and general ASTM-referenced test data as standard. If your project requires a specific regional certification not already documented, let us know early — we can usually arrange third-party testing to that standard.
How does bespoke pattern development actually work?
Send us a drawing, reference image or mood board direction. We assess feasibility and cost, then produce a physical strike-off panel for you and your client to approve before any bulk production begins — typically 7–14 days from brief to strike-off.
Who handles procurement once the material is specified?
Typically the contractor, developer or client's procurement team places the order directly with us, referencing your specification. You remain the named contact for technical questions but aren't responsible for managing the commercial transaction.
Can you support multiple projects under one design studio account?
Yes. Studios working across multiple active projects can request a standing technical account — one point of contact who already knows your studio's standards, preferred documentation format and prior specifications.
